“It’s Okay to Quit”
Greetings My Precious Friend,
Although we’ve been told that we should never give up and never quit, I’m saying there are some things that we should quit.
Enjoy!
“It’s okay to Quit”
1. Quit arguing with people about the same old foolishness! Respect their position and keep it moving!
2. Quit telling people your secrets when you know they are not going to keep them! And if you keep telling them, then quit getting mad when they tell your secrets!
3. Quit trying to pull people on your journey who don’t want to travel with you. Either they believe in you and value you…or they don’t!
4. Quit complaining about things you won’t change!
5. Quit gossiping about other people! Minding our own business should be a full time job!
6. Quit blaming each other for things that in the big picture aren’t going to matter three weeks from now! Talk solutions…and then implement them!
7. Quit eating things you know are not good for you! If you can’t quit…eat smaller portions!
8. Quit buying things when you know you can’t afford them! If you don’t have self control, then quit going to the stores! Quit charging things, especially when you don’t NEED them!
9. Quit staying in unhealthy relationships! It is not okay for people to verbally or physically abuse you!
10. Quit letting family members rope you into the drama! -Start telling them you don’t want to hear it! Quit spreading the drama! Quit calling other relatives and telling them about your cousin, uncle, or aunt! Go back to #5 minding your own business should be enough to keep you busy!
11. Quit volunteering for things and then failing to follow through with your commitment!
12. Quit listening to the naysayers! Quit watching the depressing news if you are going to live in the doom and gloom of it all!
13. Quit making excuses about why you are where you are or why you can’t do what you want to do!
14. Quit waiting on others to give you the answers…and start finding the answers for yourself! If what you are doing isn’t working for you…then quit it!
15. Quit settling and start making your dreams a reality! – Quit being afraid and START LIVING YOUR LIFE! CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT! If you want something different than what you have had in the past…you must quit doing what you have done before and DO something different!

Help Joplin
Greetings Champion,
It’s not too late. If you’d like to take part in our “Joplin Relief” outreach you can still donate items or monetarily. If you would like to donate monies you can do it online at www.nbfclive.com or tonight at our Wednesday evening service. If there are specific items you’d like to give, please make sure that they’re here by 10 p.m. tonight at the church.
I personally see this as such a great opportunity to be the church, to let our “light shine” and to make a difference.
Jesus said in Matt 5:14-16 (NIV) “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
We’re aligning ourselves with God’s Word, we’re letting our light shine, we’re doing a good work and we’re believing that men will praise our Heavenly Father.
To all of you who have already given, or are preparing to give, thank you so much. Each one of you are truly making a difference in the lives of people who really need our help.
The Blessing of the Lord’s is Yours!

God Authored Dreams
Greetings Champion,
Today I want to talk about God authored dreams. What is something you really really want to do, that “one thing” that burns within your heart night and day. It’s that “something” that you never give up on, you never quit on, you never walk away from.
Webster’s says a “dream” is a “strongly desired goal or purpose, something that fully satisfies a wish”. Although, there is a great difference between a “wish” and a “dream”.
Many people wish for things that ultimately will never come true, but those who dream are different. The faith that they have in their God sponsored dream spurs them on to action. My personal acronym for dream is; Dreams Require Energy Action & Motivation. All these things must be in the mix to realize the awesome potential that we have in Christ to experience our dreams.
The compelling story of Joseph and his up and down journey to achieve his dream gives great insight into following after your own dream. First he was betrayed by his brothers, thrown in a pit to die, sold into slavery, he was falsely accused of rape, cast into prison, and forgotten by his friends. Maybe you’ve experienced something similar in your push forward. But Joseph because of his determination, because he believed in God and the dream in his heart, never gave up. He went from the pit to the palace. He realized his destiny.
I pray today you won’t see the pits, betrayals, or the forgetfulness of friends who’ve discouraged you or tried to get you to quit on your dream. Don’t you dare let those people or circumstances interrupt your journey. The dream God gave you is for the purpose of blessing you and all who surround you.
Today’s a great day to dream, to get energized, and make a plan of action. Now go, find that someone, that friend, mentor or pastor who will help motivate you towards your dream. What’s your dream? Everybody’s got one!

Water Walking 2011
Greetings all you Precious People of God,
I hope you’ll be able to join us tonight at our Wednesday evening service to send us off on our 100 mile journey to build fresh water wells. We will be leaving at 8:00pm from our church parking lot. Let the adventure begin!
It’s so critical that we remember the “WHY” in this awesome journey. Every 15 seconds a child dies from a water related illness. How many children do you think have died since I first announced our walk for 2011?Over 103,000, that’s more than the Rose Bowl can seat.
This Water Walk wasn’t my idea, but I truly believe it came straight from the heart of God, and more than ever I want to complete this journey in a big way. If you’ve felt any prompting at all that this is of God, then please come out tonight and agree with us for a successful walk.
I know from God’s Word that this is how Jesus ministered. He was always about meeting the “Felt,” or “Now Need” of the people as well as their spiritual needs, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.
I think 2 Corinthians 8:11&12 describes what we’re doing so well and how you can still play an important role. “On with it, then, and finish the job! Be as eager to finish it as you were to plan it, and do it with what you now have. If you are eager to give, God will accept your gift on the basis of what you have to give, not on what you don’t have.”
